Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026, Last updated September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ascendant Proxies LLC ("Ascendant," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use ascendantproxies.com, our Discord server, and our proxy Services.
1. Information We Collect
Information from Discord when you sign in
You sign in to our website with Discord. We request only Discord's "identify" permission, which does not include your email address. From the profile Discord returns, we keep only your Discord user ID, Discord username, and avatar image ID, and we discard the rest. We do not receive your Discord password, email address, server list, or messages, and we do not keep Discord's access token.
Account information
We do not ask you to create a separate username or password for our website, and we do not store website passwords. Your proxy account is identified by your Discord user ID. For each account, our proxy-network provider holds your account status (for example, active or disabled), the proxy pools enabled on it, your data balance for each pool, and your proxy username.
Proxy credentials
Your proxy username and password are generated and stored by our proxy-network provider so the network can authenticate your connections. When you reset your proxy password on your account page, the new password is shown to you once; we do not store or log it and cannot show it again. Proxy lists you generate contain your proxy password and are shown only in your browser; we do not store them.
Payment information
Purchases are processed by Stripe on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe collects your email address, card details, cardholder name, and billing country and postal code (and a full billing address where Stripe requires it), along with device and connection information Stripe uses to prevent fraud. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.
In our Stripe account we can see the amount, date, and status of each payment, the product purchased, the email address and name you entered at checkout, your card brand and last four digits, and your billing country. We send Stripe your Discord user ID and your order details (pool, amount of data, and price) so we can credit the correct account.
Information you give us
If you apply for access or contact us through our Discord server or by email, we receive what you choose to send, such as your Discord username, your email address, your intended use of the Services, and the content of your messages, and any identity, organization, or other verification information we request under our Terms of Service.
Technical information
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes standard request information, such as your IP address, browser and operating-system type, the page requested, and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it against attacks, and keeps it in short-lived request logs. Our own server logs record errors and payment-processing events (for example, a checkout reference and the amount of data credited); they do not record your name, email address, IP address, or passwords.
Service usage information
Our proxy-network provider records the data (bandwidth) used on your account, by pool and by day, and your remaining balance; your account page shows the last 30 days of usage. When you generate proxies, we send the provider the options you choose: pool, location targeting, rotating or sticky session and session length, quantity, and output format.
Proxy connection information
When you connect through our proxies, the proxy network processes the IP address you connect from, the destinations you connect to, connection times, and the amount of data transferred, in order to route your traffic, measure bandwidth, and detect and prevent abuse.

3. How We Share Information
We share personal information with the service providers that run the Services for us, and each receives only what it needs:
- Discord (sign-in and our community and support server): you sign in on Discord's website, and Discord tells us your user ID, username, and avatar.
- Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention): receives your payment details directly from you, plus your Discord user ID and order details from us.
- Our website hosting providers (such as Vercel): process website request data as described above.
- Our proxy-network infrastructure provider: hosts your proxy account and receives your Discord user ID (as your account reference), your pools, balances and data purchases, your proxy-generation settings, and a payment reference, and processes proxy connection data.
We do not share personal information with analytics, advertising, or data-broker companies.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect our rights or property, to investigate suspected fraud or abuse, to protect the safety of users or third parties, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. You enter your payment details on Stripe's hosted checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), not on our website, so your full card number and security code never reach our servers. Stripe may use device and transaction information to detect fraud and may offer to save your details with Stripe Link. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for signing in and for security. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party tracking scripts.
- A sign-in session cookie keeps you signed in. It is encrypted and contains your Discord user ID, username, and avatar ID. It expires 7 days after your last visit, or when you log out.
- Two short-lived security cookies protect the Discord sign-in against forgery. They expire after 15 minutes.
- A security token cookie protects sign-in and sign-out requests against cross-site request forgery, and a second cookie remembers which page to return you to after signing in. Both are deleted when you close your browser.
Discord (during sign-in) and Stripe (on its checkout page) set their own cookies on their own websites under their own privacy policies. If you block our cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, maintain business and transaction records, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected. Specifically:
- Your sign-in cookie lasts up to 7 days after your last visit.
- Our website does not keep its own customer database.
- Your proxy account, balance, and usage history are kept by our proxy-network provider while your account exists, and afterward only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above.
- Payment records are kept in Stripe for as long as needed for accounting, tax, chargeback, and legal purposes.
- Website request and error logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.
- We never keep your proxy password.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Our website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and payments are handled on Stripe's secure checkout. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Choices
You can log out at any time, which deletes your sign-in cookie. You can remove Ascendant's access to your Discord account in Discord under User Settings, then Authorized Apps. You can reset your proxy password from your account page at any time. To request a copy or deletion of your information, contact support@ascendantproxies.com.
9. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Depending on applicability, these rights may include the right to know/access personal information, delete personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
We use sensitive personal information, such as your proxy account credentials, only to provide the Services, so the right to limit its use does not apply. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete the information we hold and instruct our proxy-network provider to delete or de-identify your account, except records we or it must keep, such as payment records.
How to submit a request
Privacy requests may be submitted to support@ascendantproxies.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
10. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Ascendant does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies or third-party tracking technologies.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults: you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to purchase or use them. Our Services are not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@ascendantproxies.com.
12. International Users
If you access Ascendant from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers (Discord, Stripe, our hosting providers, and our proxy-network provider) operate.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
